Tanjung Ratna Sdn Bhd (TRSB) was incorporated in 2000 with an authorized and paid up capital of RM 1,000,000.00 each. The company’s principal activities consist of property development and construction of commercial and non-commercial properties, i.e. shop lots, apartments, condominiums, government housing projects and renovation works. Through its unwavering commitment, incredible attention to details and excellent teamwork, TRSB began its humble journey as a Grade G7 contractor and is on track to become a world class property development titan.

Over the years, TRSB has completed many projects and among others, the construction of Cowboy Town as well as upgrading 4-D Theatre & Theme Park Facilities for Safari Wonderland Sdn Bhd in Alor Gajah. The company played a key role in furnishing Phase II of Villa D’Savoy Condopark.

TRSB was also the Main Contractor of Freeport A’Famosa Outlet (FAO) which comprised of 148 retail and F&B outlets on a total built up area of 800,000 square feet along with 4,000 parking bays. The architectural layout of FAO, inspired by Melaka’s Dutch heritage, was designed by Layton Group, a renowned architect company from Australia It was completed ahead of schedule in September 2015. Total GDC of FAO is RM 100 million.

TRSB also secured a RM 74 million project to build a 230 room Park Royal A’Famosa Hotel as well as upgrading rooms at the two existing blocks. The hotel will be fully managed by the Park Royal Hotel Group. The construction was completed in Aug 2018.

TRSB was chosen by Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia to design and build PR1MA residential houses in Alor Gajah, Melaka. PR1MA@A’Famosa, is located adjacent of A’Famosa Resort, comprised of 6 blocks which houses 475 units of low rise apartments, 280 units of terrace houses and 16 units of Shoplex with a total GDC of RM 106,228,257.

In tandem with its growth expansion plan, TRSB is constantly exploring on every possible avenue to advance its goal in the property development industry. Despite being new in industry, TRSB continuously seek new challenges though it has already garnered years of experience. The company continues to adopt prudent steps such as identifying new strategic partners to collaborate with and enter into Joint Venture agreements to develop other people’s land.

The latest strategic partnership was with Triomedia Sdn Bhd to develop 12 acres of land they own in Kota Laksamana, Melaka. The surrounding area is almost fully developed with an abundance of public amenities and facilities, a five minute drive to the famous Jonker Street, strategically located within the city center.

Admiral Condominium will comprise of 4 blocks of high rise condominiums which houses 1,440 units and full condominium facilities at the podium. The condominium is also equipped with solar panels on the rooftops, the first of its kind in Malaysia and also world class gym equipments. 2 types of units are available such as 3 rooms/ 2 baths (1,069 sq ft) & 3 + 1 rooms/ 2 baths (1,156 sq ft) and their selling price is at least 30% lower than the neighborhood condominiums. (Please refer to attach market study) TRSB is optimistic that the Admiral Condominium units will be sold out soon before completion.

TRSB has also been approached by other land owners to collaborate in developing their lands and currently negotiations have been ongoing. TRSB is optimistic in the property development industry and the market outlook, especially in the affordable residential housing market. The company believes with the right strategic JV Partners, coupled with its smart strategic moves combined with the right location, right pricing, risks will be minimized exponentially.
